- tape off paint around edges
- get bucket of water and sandpaper
- use 400-800 wet-dry sandpaper to start, depending on how much old sealer needs to come off
- use 2000 for final sanding
- *wipe down occasionally during sanding and make sure to sand edges for new sealer to attach properly
- wipe down with alcohol and cover car
- spray clear coat sealant (use something like Rustoleum gloss clear spray can that bonds to plastic and contains UV protectant and is non-yellowing) – apply a few thin coats
- if desired, after a couple of weeks, use 3000 grit sandpaper and apply wax for a brighter shine
